Lead carbonate, basic
: Lead carbonate, basic (2PbCO3·Pb(OH)2). It is a complex salt, containing both carbonate and hydroxide ions. White lead occurs naturally as a mineral, in which context it is known as hydrocerussite, a hydrate of cerussite.
: L 1348 (OTTO) Lead carbonate, basic Cas no 1319-46-6 - used as a precursor for cosmetics, colored glaze and dope. It finds application in the tin-lead plating. It is also useful as a stabilizing agent for vinyl chloride plastic.
