O 1325 (OTTO) Orcinol, monohydrate, 99%+ Cas no 6153-39-5 - used to prepare colorimetric reagents for the determination of RNA, DNA, and hexoses. The colorimetric method for nucleic acid determination using orcinol is less precise or sensitive than other detection methods.
