A silvery-white solid metal when artificially isolated, natural erbium is always found in chemical combination with other elements on Earth. E 1268 (OTTO) Erbium pieces, 99.9% Cas 7440-52-0 - used in Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) processes, including thermal and electron-beam (e-beam) evaporation, for the preparation of thin films. E 1268 (OTTO) Erbium, pieces, 99.9% Cas 7440-52-0 - used as a photographic filter, and because of its resilience it is useful as a metallurgical additive.
