Acetanilide is an odourless solid chemical of leaf or flake-like appearance. It is also known as N-phenylacetamide, acetanil, or acetanilid, and was formerly known by the trade name Antifebrin.
A 1245 (OTTO) Acetanilide, 98.5% Cas no 103-84-4 - used as an intermediate in the synthesis of rubber accelerator, dyes and camphor. It is also used in the synthesis of penicillin and other pharmaceutical products.
