Description

1-Iodooctane undergoes catalytic reduction by nickel (I) salen electrogenerated at a glassy carbon cathode in dimethylformamide.

Application

I 1950 (OTTO) 1-Iodooctane, 98% Cas 629-27-6 - used as a reagent to react with polyethylenimine to form ultrasensitive MRI probes that are amphiphilic in nature.
